This is a flowering Apricot with one flower. I am both pleased and disappointed.
Pleased that at least one flower has appeared, but disappointed that there is not more flowers. Anyway, a mid winter flower is enough to warm the spirits.
Hope you enjoy.

Beautiful tree, shame about the flowering! My garden tree ones have put on a decent show, so not sure why yours haven’t but there is still a month and a half of winter to go

As far as flowers go, it's a very nice flower. Beautiful colour. Hopefully next season is covered

Understanding that you want more - there is something startlingly beautiful about that singular flower on an excellent little tree. Cheers for the photo Watto.

That is a pretty tree Watto, and the one flower at least should give you hope.
I have way too many fruit trees, and at the moment, only have one tiny white flower on a plum... :/

Simon, there won't be any spring trimming of this tree. It had its trim at the leaf drop stage in autumn and the next trim will be about mid summer, hopefully.

Mark, thanks for your insight in regards to the single flower, very thoughtful.
I have been playing around with stands that suit trees and pots over the "lockdown" period and I quite like the look of this combination now. The old potter, Pat someone, has done a good job matching the lower part of the pot to the stand. I might keep this as a combination.

Mel,
Everyone should have at least one plum in their bonsai collection (if I was made chief poobar I would make it law). None of mine are anywhere near flowering yet, at least another month away, but our climates are a bit different.
