Anyone's clubs starting meetings up again?

We're hoping Redlands gets to hold a meeting in late July....

Albury Wodonga club had a meeting last month limited to 10 members but we usually only get 10-12 anyway. Smaller club so much easier to manage than the bigger ones.
A number of the other clubs I get newsletters from are also starting face to face meetings this month or next with limitations on numbers, seating, food and drink, etc.
Some are also starting workshop sessions with limited numbers and spacing to suit the new rules.

I have been involved in a couple of virtual club meetings while restrictions have been in place.
Canberra have been running monthly zoom sessions featuring just a bit of news and chat followed by show and tell.
SA bonsai have also used zoom. I think they do virtual workshops.
I did an online demo on field growing and fast development of trees for bonsai for both those clubs to help maintain interest and member development.

What have other cubs been doing while face to face was not allowed?

Canberra bonsai club has gotten the go ahead to start meetings in August. The meetings are limited to only 40 spots, so they plan to do a combination of face to face and zoom. Looking forward to returning as i have a couple hawthorns i need help with

SA Bonsai has been holding regular demos and workshops via Zoom, but we're aiming to have a meeting in August. We should be able to have our regular numbers in the hall, but obviously the rules can change quickly.

At best certain parts of Melbourne and certain clubs may open up ... but the safest play would be to defer.
