Blue atlas cedar

This is another acquisition from a regular nursery that I’ve just recently styled. Second pic is the “front”. The four lowest branches are meant to be sacrifices so I’ll keep them. But it’s too early to see where this is headed. Doesn’t look like much right now but I’m hoping it fills out nicely in time.

Appreciate thoughts and feedback.

Cheers,
Harshad

I hope it gets cold enough where you are for that cedar. :fc: As far as I know they like a cold winter, frosty even, and don't mind snow. If I could grow cedar here in Qld. I would, but where I am is close to the coast and we get mild winters here. I've tried them a couple of times, but they just slowly go backwards and die. :palm:
Good luck with yours.

I’ve seen several Cedrus trees in my neighborhood and at local bonsai nurseries. I imagine it’ll do okay here. My inexperience is probably a greater threat to its survival. They’re beautiful trees tho.
