(Yes I know!) It's just that I have a stack of them because I've bought seeds from shibui for a few years now... So this will be my first entry.
These are some of the groups I've already made up, plus a square basket of seedlings, and one landscape setting... I will be using some of the pictured trees, just not sure which, at this stage...

Great to have you join the party MelB. Certainly many maples to choose from in those sets and some beaut little pots too.

Nothing like a forest of Maples to calm the mind. There are some nice looking rocks in there too Mel, are you thinking of using them?
Matt.

Thanks Mark and Matt. I'm sure to use the rocks somewhere, Matt. I love the strata in them.

I follow Dan Barton on farcebook, a UK bonsai artist, sculptor and potter. He has his own maple trees that he gathers seed from every year, and then he plants a stack of them into flats. This is a group he made up about 10 years ago... I would be very happy to be able to attain something similar.
