Osteomeles schwerinae

This is a semi-evergreen Chinese shrub from dry hillsides belonging to the rosaseae.
It has small white flowers followed by small purplish fruit - if pollinated.
This little tree was mainly grown by clip and grow. I'm pleased with the angular shapes the braches are starting to develop. Believe it or not it's over 20 years old. Very slow to thicken.

I really like this and it looks like it has started to bud, I would love to see this after they open.
