Very nice Mike , that trunk has some age and great movement. All the wisterias up here are in full flower and looking great atm. How long have you been building the branches? im assuming It was a old garden tree at some point .

I don't know Mathew. It was given to me by the late Geoff Vanner who complained that it never flowered for him in 30 years. It had a lot of rot in the trunk and was suffering from starvation but after some repair work and a good feed it started to respond and it's now a powerhouse of vigour. Just shows that they can bounce back after many years of neglect. It has mature bark so I estimate it at about 40 to 50 years old.
