i'm sure many of you will be familiar with this one but just thought i'd post it up for anyone who that is not, i think it's a nice little arrangement!!

yep it definitely loves wet feet and i dare say you wouldn't have any trouble growing down there mate! in fact heres some info from the sole ebay seller!
Prefers moist soil
Full sun to get the best foliage colours
Will grow in partial shade.
This variety is often seen across Australia.
Its red strap foliage make it an attractive and versatile addition to your garden.
It will look after itself once established.
Frost and snow hardy,

Wow, beautiful colour. I love the simplicity. I don't suppose anyone knows of any books out there just about accent plants???

there are lots of writings on accent plants, but most we cant get here.
Start looking at the "weeds" that grow in cracks on the pavement, how they group together. Look at what they are, the size, the textures, colours, flowers. In nurseries look for the same sort of things, then build off similar principles as group plantings in bonsai.
Moss also makes cool little plantings, interesting rocks covered in moss and a small grass looks great. Use your imagination, start looking in those crevices and cracks.
