My score from Annual ANBA Bonsai sales Day at the East Ryde Scout hall. i added to the ramification by turning the 4 way branches into 3. i decided to repot the tree to make it more central so that the pot doesnt look too big for the tree. the tree is still in development so i guess having a larger pot isnt that bad. i raised the backside of the tree up so that it looks better in my opinion. whoever started the look on this tree they did an amazing job and i cant wait to see what i can create from this tree and the future development.
before i touched it

After i touched it

does anyone know anything about this pot?
thanks for looking guys

I can see the icons and captions but the images don't seem to be available.
Can you have a look and try again. I would like to see what you've bought and what you've done to it so far.

Now the third image is showing
I have to say that the original root arrangement seems far more appealing than the new 'after' view. Those splayed out straight roots don't do anything for me.
I assume by turning 4 way brances into 3 you mean you have pruned wherever the branches split up into more than 1 side branch? That's really vital but I think you really need to go the rest of the way and turn as many 3s as possible into 2s. There's one prominent 3 on the left branch. That area is already thicker than the branch below and will only get worse while there are still 3 (2 branches and a leader) there.
Most of the other branches look like they are made up of short sections but that left branch has 2 long, straight sections. Those sections don't ahve any buds so no matter how hard you try you won't get buds along there. I know it seems harsh but you will eventually have to cut them off and rebuild the branch from one of those branches with shorter nodes near the base.

Pot says 林 which means forest. A common character but the style seems Southern Chinese. Other than that, nice score
