Yarra Valley Bonsai Society - 12th March Meeting
Posted: March 5th, 2019, 8:38 am
Howdy Folks,
Don’t chuckle too hard but I’m going to give a presentation at the Yarra Valley Bonsai Society on Tuesday 12th March. Huh! What!?
It’d be great to meet some people from this forum if you are about. I know some of the members of my own club will heckle - so you may as well join the chorus.
It’s our first meeting at our new home too: Chirnside Park Community Hub at 33 Kimberley Drive in Chirnside Park. The meeting starts at 7.30pm.
My presentation is a reflection on my first 5-6 years in this hobby - progressing from novice to somewhere close to intermediate. Be assured, plenty of experienced members will attend to correct any messaging that may be misleading.
Come along - you’ll probably learn more about what not to do .... from the mistakes I continue to make - but that’s probably valuable in its own way! I hope to give some tips on how to progress more quickly than I have and perhaps keep a few new folk interested in the hobby they have just taken up too.
For those Melbourne-based folk that are members of this forum - it’d be good to put some names to faces if you do happen to come along.
Cheers,
Mark
