Notice the posts holding up the trees in the first one. Are they there all the time, or only when the wind blows?

God ... that reminds me... I have a privet doing aquarobics since yesterday morning. Guess the dry soil will be hydrated by now. It's one of a number in a blasted batch of bad soil that looks as tho it is taking water normally but the finger test reveals that while the water appears to be going through the pot the majority of the soil is bone dry. It goes up for repotting this week and the soil goes in the bin. However, one privet over indulged is better than this hellish flooding. Pity all the trees on the ground.
