This unknown Bottle Brush was collected a few years ago and has been in a training pot for some time

originally tossed into a grow bed, I took the time yesterday to have a play with it . A root prune and a new pot was on the cards

, this will be wired and shaped in my spare time .

I have one with leaves like that, collected by Jarad, and bought by me when he needed to sell everything so he could move to Tasmania.

I've been told it's Callistemon viminalis, but I suspect the leaves are more like C. citrinus...

Good on you for getting it to survive. I dug a couple of them a few months back and took all the care in the world to keep them moist on the way home etc. etc. Unfortunately they slowly died, I think. :shake: I haven't pulled them out of the grow box yet in the hope they may recover in spring :fc: but don't hold out much hope.

Hi Raging Bull , when I collected this one it was a 12 trunk clump , over the years it has lost a few of those trunks , hopefully it will stay green and I noticed it has a wee flower beginning to swell .

Might just survive after all .
