Peach

I call this a peach but it could be a nectarine and until it flowers it will be difficult to tell. Hopefully one day it will flower and fruit and then I will know for sure.
This tree was dug from my garden about this time last year and is probably a result of me throwing seeds into the garden after I ate the fruit. At digging it was cut down quite low and potted into a colander, and then had some work during the year. When I took this out of the colander I was very pleased with the root development and as such I potted it into this Pat Kennedy pot. The pot is probably a little bit big but I can pot in down a size in the next few years.
I am very pleased with the development in just twelve months and in about ten years it should look OK. I am letting a sacrifice branch grow to help with the base.
