Here is another Hawthorn

I bought this Hawthorn from a club member ( Mario) as a stock tree back in 2012. He had dug this up at a Goulburn Club dig.
At this stage I am still working on the apex branching.
I call it ''Mario's Hawthorn'' and hope he likes the result so far. Probably not his vision of the tree.

Coming along nicely Peter. Glad you removed the top deadwood Jin

Has it flowered and fruited for you yet.

Mine took about 8 years of pot culture before i was rewarded.

No flowers or fruit yet. Still waiting for those branches I need to complete the design concept.As you know it is a slow process.

Nice work indeed and agree with Shibui re excising the top deadwood. Great base root distribution - natural or the result of layering?

Fantastic vision/work as usual Peter,they say it normally takes 7 to 10 years to get a look in from raw handy material,you are very much on track.
