Today I decided to rip into a few projects and re-pot a few tree's after recovering from a {poke in the eye with a burnt stick} , not 100 % vision yet , but good enough to do some unpaid work around here .

A quick build of a wooden tray , framed and mounted with a bit of wiring

, then filled up and put back on the bench

. Hopefully a few more trunks will get a work out over the coming weeks .

Hi KIRKY , the day I collected this trunk , it was a raft for the future and that time has come .

Hi thymetraveller , I dont have too many left so it's good to add another to the stock .

Hi kc a good point you have there , glad someone is switched on and plugged in ;) , yes I did :D . Unfortunately I had screwed it to the base to set the movement and didn't take any pics . The visions not real clear so it hard to see details like pics and keyboards hence the lack details , wiring and trimming .

Cheers Alpine

This is very cool! Screwing it down to set the movement and using the block to lift the tip (I assume?) is a great idea. I think this could turn into something pretty special. Nice

Hi Ryceman3 , mate you got it right , there was enough movement in the lower trunk not to use any blocks for up and down , sideways was taken care of with the screws into the base . I HOPE IT MAKES A GOOD PROGRESSION .

Hi MountainFrost , mate I'm more than happy with the progress from trunk to trainer , with 20 other trunk configurations that require initial training I had better get my thinking cap on . Unfortunately I have just began phase 2 of the rock retaining walls so I am time poor at the moment unless we get some serious rain to keep me under cover .

Cheers . Alpine
