Have a 1.8m tall shrub whuch i beleive to be a Lilly Pilly. The fruit and flowers seem to be like what i see on Google
I have chopped it down to about 50cm tall to allow work to continue (demolition site) and will attempt to remove tomorrow.
I have watered considerably to loosen soil, which seems quite soft and easily disturbed. Im hoping the tree will lift straight out with some help from the 20t excavator.

Just take as much of the root ball with as little disturbance/ breakage as possible.
When back at home just ensure it is not subject too harsh environmental conditiins.
Ie. Too much wind, sun or rain.
Seasol is apparently good too.

Not much in the way of fibrous roots near the trunk. Im not sure if the roots extended underneath the nearby concrete so i have removed as much as i could obtain.
Itll go in a seasol soak tonight until the growbox is ready

I resued a heap as shown in this thread
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=23186

I cut the root balls back pretty hard to get them into much smaller pots and get rid of the large roots and only lost 2 of them.
Trim up as Much as you need then pot up and put into full sun this time of year.
