That's good colour considering you're not too far from the coast. Nice and even over the entire group too.

Wonderful colour Treeman.

This is what I plan to do with about 8 Chinese Pistachios that popped up in my front garden. They're currently residing in a styro box to mature and obtain the right pot.

Regarding the colour, one trick I find helps is to keep the trees under about 70% shade during say Feb and March and this somehow keeps the leaves a bit softer. Then once they go out in full sun again in late March - April, they colour up quickly and evenly. Also, where I am the nights go down to about 6 pretty regularly which is lower than some other places around here. I'm in a kind of valley.
