Hi
i got this from a school fete some years ago and just done some basic pruning, no wiring of any consequence . i have just re potted it to stand it up straight- it was quite leaned
i have left the two large branches from the base area as sacrificial ....
not sure what to do here...

chop the cascade branch back to the little shoot there and remove he other 2 completely or to just a stub
regrow branchine by cutting back to build ramifiaction same as any other tree.
create an informal upright i think

This is another plant I'd like to play with, but my little greenhouse is full atm. I prefer them more compact though.
YouTube is a good place to see what's possible. Try Nigel Saunders, he has 3 vids over 3 years of a Portulacaria forrest he's working on. Lots of info and he touches on how to propagate from cuttings.
Looking forward to seeing your progress.

i think the next step maybe creating two trees by cutting it just above the highest big (second) branch ????
