Hi everyone!

I'm thinking to grow this into a broom style?!? What you guys think? Should I remove all lower branches?
Thanks!

Interesting wiring technique... Just clip and grow this one. You don't ever have to touch it with wire. Broom would be fine.

I would leave them for now. The main problem as I see it is that it's headed in two directions. I would be inclined to pick the right as it's more interesting and remove or severely reduce the left.

Hi pureheart,

I agree with the treeman to work on the right - as the left side is very straight. However, having said that I'd like to invite you to come to our next workshop - since you're in Melbourne, bring your tree along and we'll take it from there :!: It's different to look at the tree in the flesh rather than at a picture, we do have quite a few different Serissa varieties in our collection and I'm sure we'll find a solution :fc:

Our next workshop is on Saturday 29th April, at 2:00PM - 4:30PM, at Cire services (formerly Upper Yarra Community House) at 20 Old Hereford Road in Mount Evelyn (Melway Ref 118 / B 8).

In the meantime check out our website http://www.yarravalleybonsai.org.au/ there's some interesting reading :reading:

Go to the Menu and under Newsletter you'll find in the July/August 2012 issue an article on Serissa ;)

Hope to see you at our workshop with your Serissa

Cheers,
Rudi

Thank you so much for your he invite Rudi I will definitely read the newsletter, it would probably take me too long to drive there and my kids keep me to busy... I didn't think this plant was ready to be taken to a workshop but now that I know I will not be embarrassed to take it....
