Progression thread : Allocasuarina littoralis 40
I Purchased this intriguing material from Bonsai World at Jilliby on the Central Coast on the 17th August 2016.
Cost $16
This was a lovely piece of material that had a very Casuarina-ish feel to it. I instantly saw a Casuarina growing out over a creek and had to have it.
My plan for the tree is to keep the ragged and random branching all up the trunk. I think it is challenging but also fun to try and create a natural looking tree. I am trying hard with this one.
I am not sure if I'm going to keep it as a shohin or under about 50cm. At this stage, I think I'm 'leaning' towards keeping it under about 50cm.
