Ahhhh. Pat that will drive most people insane. Please say you will keep making pots. I can't say how many people I have spoken with will be upset if these aren't available in the future

I have only a few and I love each one. Need a couple more one for a White Hawthorn and one for a Pink Hawthorn

Thanks fellas, but as someone has said, 'time marches on'!
But it's not all gloom.... when putting our heads together to plan the Bonsai Week pottery exhibition, we found 23 bonsai potters in this country. Fifteen are showing their wares in Canberra next week.
When I first played with the idea of making my own bonsai pots I found someone in Sydney making pots and rang him for some advice.The bloke in question wouldn't talk to me, let alone show me what he was doing! Compare that with our fifteen contributors who will not only talk pots but, those who can make it to Canberra, will also be demonstrating their potting prowess.
This change in fortune I lay squarely on the shoulders of Steve (our benefactor), and the willingness of the contributors of AusBonsai to share their skills. Long may you triumph!!

I am also looking into the future and other challenges , reducing my collection considerably over the next 12 months.

I love them all. Absolutely beautiful work there Pat. I speak for most of us when I say its like standing outside the window of Willy Wonkas candy store and peering in.

Hi Pat,

Wish I was heading in the muddy direction. I did look for a formal coarse but with little luck.I do like to have a good foundation in any of my endevors.

As far as the Bonsai weekend, I have not been to one yet.

Is the Potters display open to the general public.

It sure is, Peter, and it's free.
The pottery display isn't in the Bonsai Pavilion but under the main roof of the Arboretum.
