Is Wisteria suitable for a root over rock style bonsai?

I suppose there is no reason that will stop you doing one. the roots do bark up quite well I think but would the composition be realistic?
Wisteria do not naturally grow in Rocky ground, but then neither do maples but they are placed on rocks all the time.

a wisteria dangling over a rock and flowers cascading down a cliff might look quite spectacular

I was only going to go for a small rock the Wisteria can clamber over, like a boulder that a tree has grown around near a creek.

There's a big difference between root over rock and shoving a rock in near the roots of a bonsai.
I think wisteria roots should look good over a rock and the added height could be good for displaying the flowers. Even a low rock could add to the composition but it does need to be integrated in the trunk/roots to work.
