Here is one of my Mels just coming into flower. Melaleuca elliptica (granite honey myrtle) This tree was collected from the wheat belt area around Meriden, around 12 years ago. It has been pot grown since, mainly grown loosely in its natural habit.

Hi Craig none of my trees get placed in water trays they sit above them. This one does not it sits on the bench.

The more skill you have the smaller the pots, mine need to be in half wine barrels.

Such a beautiful tree Pup! I've been inspired to get a few melaleuca plants from what I've seen on this thread, yours included! Great specimen.

No Hal, this is one of Lorraine Simpsons pots.

Love the bark on this one. Anyone know of any half decent native nurseries? Now that the one in St Ives has closed down I don't know where to go.
