Off along the inlet for a scrounge as all Bonsai folk do and looky here.
My collection of 'Salt Bush stumps and branches destined for another post
and a re design of a couple of trees I have featured in the past.

Often wondered with drift wood found on the beach, how do you treat it. I mean ridding the salt from the wood. Any ideas.

I pressure washed,soaked over night in rain water barrel, washed in bi cab solution, soaked again overnight..tested water for saltiness. (Had a glass..

)
Heated and toughened in oven at 180' for a couple of hours then just Sulfured it.
That's what this lot got over 3 days.
