I am after peoples input on this.

I find that when watering with seasol and especially with the free draining media I use for my plants, most of the seasol runs off. This results in the nearby lawn area to really go berserk and is so much wastage. I've started filling a large tub and putting in the max dilution and then I soak my plants in them overnight taking turns. I top up the seasol and water as required.

Apart from the transfer of pests and weeds I don't really see an issue with it. Any other input.

I'm the same. I put the trees in a tray and recycle the excess water by putting it into other trees. I've been doing this for two years without issue.

What you are doings not a problem as long as you dont forget to take the plants out of the water. There is however one point Seasol is not a feed. Its a tonic for plants helps with cell structure and great after care when repotting. If you want to feed your plants use power feed or thrive using the same dunk method.
