Hey guys . I have a swampy that I want to produce some nebari on .
Its a great tree but far to thick for use of tiles or plates. Today I wrapped some wire tightly about 10mm below the soil level when I repotted it . Has anyone had any failures doing this... at the end of the day the last thing I want is to kill the tree .

Cheers

I doubt it will kill it, if anything the base will bulk up and roll over the wire

I'm no expert and I have tried only this year for the first time but... what about the toothpicks method?
