Semi Cascade Pot Wanted

Found this Wisteria over the weekend, really like the movement. Have been trying to find a glazed semi-cascade pot to compliment when it flowers, so far no luck. Have been looking for something less formal perhaps with fluted sides. Current plastic pot is 25cm wide and around 24cm high, would be looking for a pot between 20 / 25cm wide, between 15 / 25cm high.

If anyone has a pot that fits the brief and would like to sell or knows where I can find one, or you think you have one that would suite the tree, please send me PM with details and a pic?

Thanks in advance

Try the big green shed and pot shops, while not actually bonsai pots I have several trees that look better in less formal glazed pots obtained from both.

Go to eBay and search for plastic hexagonal bonsai pot. I bought a couple that look like in the photo. There is a similar size to what you mentioned. The nice thing about this is you could mold concrete or hypertufa pots using these as molds. I made a couple so far and they are quite nice.

Hi Craig, should try bonsai sensation, I picked up an unglazed similar to your description, Tien probably has some glazed versions as well :fc:

Managed to find a pot today at the Vic Native Sale, courtesy Marg Fenn :tu: Originally was looking for a glazed pot, but think the light flecks will go well with the flowers, will start a new thread with the tree potted up.

Not very great pot that I made from the 'mold' but ok to use for me. I used concrete mix. This pot costs less than $2. May not use it for displaying trees but should be fine for starter trees.
