Can anyone help direct to me to any info or posts on AB.C relating the Japanese Holly? I was given one as a gift last year and am looking for care and maintenance info and also gallery images for shaping inspiration.

Hey Jow ..I have tried many times to score a Japanese Holly but get told the same thing. That they are a weed and we dont stock them . You can get the black berry ones but not the ones that produce red berries. I am pretty sure the red ones are ..ilex serrata. I also would like the red berry one so same for me, if anyone out there has one for sale i would be very interested.

would you like to see the trees i have layered or the way i have set up the technique? I have just finished doing some trees but they are buried. I always forget to take pictures while i am head down and bum up. I did a new root system on my MIKAWA YATSABUSA Maple which i am curious about so might uncover it tomorrow and get a few shots of its progress. Keep you posted.
