Another tree I have been working on of late in collaboration with my friend and owner of the tree. Its an old Melaleuca nodosa, the Prickly leaf Paperbark.
In my opinion a highly underused species in Australian, has fantastic characteristics fro bonsai and responds very well to work with the right treatment. A really great species we should be getting into.

A bunjin-esc tree that captures the elegance of this species in its natural form. potted in a simple low Penny Davis (mudlark pottery) container.

Tiptop effort Hugh, the tree has come into fruition. Perfect design and execution, its exactly how we envisioned it from day one.
