Hi all
For those of you in Canberra who make your own soil mixtures could you please list what type of mediums you use and if allowed where you got them from?
If it helps i mainly have junipers and the odd japanese maple.
Thanks in advance
Ryan

Unfortunately zeolite & pumice I've only found interstate which needs to be shipped in. Same with Diatomite which I order via Enfield Produce. Hence I've been playing with a few substitutes.

Pumice I get in Sydney (sigh). Canberra Bonsai Society does orders in late winter for Zeolite, Diatomite and a good quality potting mix, which covers most folk. You will need to join (nice folk). Meeting on Saturday. Crushed granite I think is a WA thing I think. Best of luck.
