I trimmed my maple over a week ago and while in rush, I popped all the cutting into a pot of soil in my green house, they're still green & perky, do they strike easily??
Wondering if I should seperare then into individual pots now or wait...

If you keep the humidity high, it shouldn't be a problem.
I striked Japanese quince, cotoneaster and crab apples, all cut in the last 3 weeks.
I also air layered two japanese maples in the last 3 weeks without problem.

I grow lots of cuttings but find maples quite hard to grow from cuttings. They often grow roots but then seem to rot off. I did better last year when I used a fungicide so maybe I have an infection here that affects them. Hope yours do better.
