Here are some pic of what I am looking for, it is the plant with the purple berry, I was told by Koji that it is a Japanese Mulberry.

Hi Chris,
As far as I know that is the Purple Beautyberry - Callicarpa dichotoma. I have never heard it called Japanese Mulberry.

If anyone does find or knows of a nursery that supplies these then I'll definitely be interested. So much character in the trunk and the berries just top it off. Amazing....

I have one and they are available. Scott was searching for one a while back an his thread had some good leads. I think a search of the Latin name should find the thread.

Callicarpa Japonica. Not an easy find in Canberra or Sydney. Ray had it a long time prior to me looking but no longer does. I have not had a great amount of luck propagating. I had a couple cuttings going but they died!
Mine came from a grower in Victoria...all the good species seem to...

Would prefer to get stock from NSW but will contact these guys up in QSLD.... I understand that they do mail order.

Hey Truth just seen your post how did you go with finding material? ??
I purchased a beauty berry from my local nursery some months ago see pic 11 in the gumtree link up above ..
Im leaving it in a pot and will cut back in winter to try and start the thicking would like to hear of your progress
