Hey im currently after some young ficus stock to attempt a fusing experiment, not picky on species. Anything ranging from pencil thickness to 10-15mm in diametre

Hi Joe. Where are you in Brisbane? I have some benjamina figs that might be suitable however, I know of a few places that you could obtain cuttings from big Port Jackson trees (I had a few success trials with these).

Hey mate, im in chermside. Yeh i have 30 cuttings on the go now and by the looks of it about 6 survived.

It's that time of the year. Go to a park, find a fig tree, or two, collect 4 or 5 fresh fruit from under the tree, take them home, squash out the seed, spread them out on top of a pot or 2 of soil and keep moist. In a few weeks you'll have hundreds to choose from.
