Early days for a yearling Euc

Exactly 12 months ago a Eucalyptus popped up in a Bunya Pine experiment I have going on.
I let it grow in the pot thinking I could something with it later.

In 12 months the thing outgrew it pot mate and I was experimenting with just hand-bending the trunks every now and then.
I was hoping for a good root system but the root went straight down the side of the bucket and into the ground.

had to cut the root further back to a stump of about four inches long where two feeder roots had at least begun to do something.

anyway this is where it is today,

That's fantastic growth for such a short period of time. I like where it's headed-very natural

Man you do grow them fast up there - great envy! Any idea what species? What are the trees around you?

Just an update for this one, has had another season and I de-foliated back in August.
In the process the second stump did not re-foliate at all, not sure why the other trunk sprung back, no probs.
Have begun a scarring process on this as a trial to reproduce viewtopic.php?f=106&t=20611&hilit=+gnarly#p209693
I will pot this one up a few sizes next repot and expose a bit of the nebari a little bit at a time, its just on two year old so I have some time.
thanks for lookin'

Shame bout the second trunk/tree.

I see a nice feminine little tree happening here.
