Liquid Amber

Hi every one. Merry Xmas to you all. I've just put all my maples and liquid ambers back outside after the terrible heat. Please see photo of some black spots I get on my leafs on the liquid Amber. Does any one I here know what causes this. I will be defoliating this soon and just curious to what causes this on the leafs.
