a walk in the bush

Just thought I would share with you an experience I had today.
I have mentioned I have a guy who owns a quarry near my place and he has given me free reign to walk the place and "collect" whatever may the earth give up.
The quarry is a remnant of a volcanic upheaval x amount of years ago.
Today was simply reconnaissance;
hope you enjoy;
don't know if you appreciate the glory of this tree from a photo (Leichardt tree, I think) volcanic rock (the place is loaded with this Qld bush kusamono volcanic rockslide
