Just thought I would share with you an experience I had today.
I have mentioned I have a guy who owns a quarry near my place and he has given me free reign to walk the place and "collect" whatever may the earth give up.
The quarry is a remnant of a volcanic upheaval x amount of years ago.
Today was simply reconnaissance;
hope you enjoy;

don't know if you appreciate the glory of this tree from a photo (Leichardt tree, I think)

Man. I love those rocks. Are they light enough to be carried home :) ?

Some lovely trees there but I think the first might be little large :-)

Very nice and unique stuff. Reminds me of Paluma Range neck of woods. I'd be tempted to do a on sight installation... like a heavy duty penjiin without a tray.
