This large exceptionally smooth caramel coloured chalcedony waterstone has a fine silky smooth patina that has not been polished. Just a quick wipeover with coconut oil brought out the rich food like ) colour.....and .....well....it's making me hungry!

Wow! I'm extremely envious of your rock collection.

You're not the only one getting hungry from looking at it.

Yeah we have a few rocks Jarad. Fortunately my partner is a rock tragic herself so having rocks everywhere is quite normal and we go fossicking at the drop of a hat! We are going away overnight this weekend to get coarse quartz sand for penjiin and decomposed granite for bonsais so we are bound to find something interesting.

Sounds like you'll be having a blast! Whenever I duck into the bush I always find something interesting in my pocket when I get home ;)

I'm keeping my eyes open for those books you suggested, will be ducking into the local used bookshop on my lunchbreak to fossick.
