Anyone own a Deshojo maple and has there buds started to develop or swell up?

Deshojo takes abit of time to develop leaves again?

Mine has most of it's buds already extended with a good portion of them already bursting. I just took this photo 5 mins ago, and the leaves in the middle were the first to open up on the tree. It has moved the most in the last week or so.

I have 6 maples, all same age, 3 trident and 3 Japanese.
One trident is in full leaf, the other is just at bud swell and the last one hasn't even moved (still alive though).
One Japanese maple has bud burst and close to full leaf, the other two are both just starting to bud swell.
All of these are in the same location (literally within cm of each other trunk to trunk) and all get the exact same treatment.
My point? Tree's will leaf out whenever they feel like it. Some take longer others shoot in Winter. As long as it's green under the bark you're all good haha.
Cheers,
Mo

Only my tridents are showing 1/2 leaf. All my japanese are still sweelling. Only guessing but I think it depends a lot on species, climate in the area as well as the micro climate (% of daylight, afternoon vs morning etc)

In Sydney like truth is and like them, my Japanese maples are all out in leaf now this week.
Tridents are about 2 weeks ahead and already are in Full leaf. Going to tip prune those that need controlling this weekend

Makes sense kcpoole, i'm in the hills, so we'd have very similar climate zones. All the Japanese Maples, even the ones in the garden/ground have all started waking up this week, some even last.

It has been repotted around June/July and its a seedling "starter" from Ray Nesci that I had for 2 months minimum.
Its in a potting mix that I bought from Megumi as well and it drains quite well/not sulking at all.
The Deshojo does have buds on the stem/branches and my Tridents/Maples have already started swelling or leafing out
