[]Between here and FB I have lost a couple of pictures, still trying to find them. It was a couple of shots of the larger of the three trees. One was showing the ramification, so I will keep searching for it. Meanwhile here are the others. The reason for saying species, it has attracted a lot of conjecture so it is easier to say species.

How many years do you leave in between repotting for these little guys?

Love your work Pup, how do you manage to have so many amazing trees?

Patience and time, starting with the right stock.

Repotting is done every 6 months, sometimes less sometimes more.

I have been doing it for few years now,I think I am finally getting it right.

No Macca only my Mame Shohin, my other trees are repotted as needed. Some tree can go as long as10 years for slow growing species,like some pines and junipers.

My potting is done all year round depending on species.

I've been having a go at this for a while now and still scratch my head
So many different ideas and methods, I've posted before in other threads that i feel we can over think things.
Maybe I should listen to myself... ( again )

Lovely trees Pup and i agree wholeheartedly about repotting. You have to learn your species and repot accordingly. Because of other commitments i have not routinely repotted some of my trees for four years now and still they push on because of good feeding habits. Not Elms though, every year, if possible for them. Perth has that wonderful Mediterranean climate and you could repot year round

I have more natives in my collection so summer is easy, I have potted Ficus in Winter! just to see how it went no problems, just keep them close to the walls of the house under the eves.
I now have an enclosure with an alsenite roof, so my ficus grow just about all year.

Cannot answer that as both members are of the workshop, Arthur might be there but you will have to ask him.
