Advice on Buxus

I received this Box a couple of weeks ago and cant really decide what to do with it. Any opinions?

I just realised this got oosted in soil and fertilizers... I could have sworn I put it in techniques and advice. . Strange

Hi Matty,
Here is a fairly quick idea. You would still have to do some work with the branching and getting grow back down the branches.

It might have been a Bonsai in a Box, but what you have is a variegated Serissa.

Certainly needs some compacting as per above.

Oh its not a box whoops!

I see. So keeping the same basic shape but let it fill out in the centre some more?

Do you have any preference for style? Do you have photos of different angles? And maybe something for scale?

Yes looks like a V serissa, does it have a strong smell when roots are cut?

Ive just compacted it like Ray has shown for now. I was even thinking of going as extreme as cutting the whole thing down to a single trunk and leader as theres a few options with different movement.

Ill be sure to check the root smell. I received it as a gift about 2 weeks ago so havnt repotted or root pruned yet.
