Hey everyone
A few of my trees have been suffering from some sort of bug this one in particular, I believe it is some sort of prunus, they have been nibbling away for a while now. But I can never seem to find the culprit in the day or night.
What should i do?

Hi Matt,
I thought there was a Caterpillar in the second photo. When I blew the photo up it was just part of the leaf. It certainly looks like a Caterpillar attack. Have you done a thorough look on top and under the leaves?
Regards Ray

from the photos, and this post
viewtopic.php?f=19&t=18965 , looks like native bee's? (50% of the leaves on my trident maple have been visited by the bee)

G'day.
Spray it with "White oil " you can google how to make it. Will not hurt the plant, may/may not help.
Cheers.

the holes are made by a leaf cutter bee. Don't spray with anything. The holes will not harm the plant.

PMP is correct. This is from Leafcutter bee.
White oil is only affective if you spray it directly onto the pest so will not help with this one.
As I've said in the thread Naimul has linked to, they don't usually cause significant damage and I'd rather have the bees.

Cheers for the feedback everyone.
Now I know what it is I can deal with it if it becomes a problem for the tree, maybe place the tree in some fine netting.
Cheers
