Juniper literati

My only literati (apart from the fig posted earlier, (I may be apologising for a long time for that one).
Did not start out this way but this is what it has become after four style changes.
The pot is a rough hewn concrete pot, the top layer over the medium is 10mm scoria, and then some scoria rocks for effect

What's happening in the last image? Is that channel where you inserted wire?

Hey adge, merry Christmas, the scar come from a previous lifetime of the tree, different style, was lying down, and this scar was showing as the exposed surface, total style change now and have put the scar to the back.
A bonsai lesson I was taught, if there is a bad feature on a tree, expose it, hide it, or lose it. Hiding as the back of the tree seemed the best option.
