and man it means prickly, this one is definitely get the chain mail gloves out to wire.
Gets a lovely flower and little edible fruit though.
Not sure on the direction of this one yet when I got it, it was about two and half time taller than it is now, and instead of de-wiring it (coz' there was tonnes of wire on it) I decided to save the pain of pins and needles and chop the top off.
Has shot back nicely now and is full of thorns again (bugger)

getting down to the last ones though.
This was untouched from first post up until Aug of 2016 and I did some carving to tidy up and it has been trimmed twice since then.
Did get a good crop of flowers this year and they are gorgeous and generally bloom in little triplets.
Still a way to go.
Won't confirm it yet but I believe this has now propagated beneath the big fig I have in the yard (thank you birds?) so I'll keep an eye on this shoot and keep you updated
