A question of zones - Southern Chinese trees

Hey Folks,
I wanted to know if it was okay to show some examples of mostly shrubs that I grown from cuttings. They all come from Southern China, but as far as I know are growing in zone 7.
http://www.ars.usda.gov/Main/docs.htm?docid=9815&page=2
These would be shrubs like the Chinese Serissa, Fukien Tea, Sagretia t., Southern Chinese elms........
The definition of Tropical is temperatures above 12.8 deg.C
Anyone?
Later.
