John that is a awesome white pine and own its own roots as well. The bark is impressive as white pine takes some time to start developing the flaked bark. Your pine skills are second to none :tu: :tu: :hooray:

Very nice tree!
Does it normally flower every year? I have a pine that does so, but was told recently at a workshop that if pines are pruned properly, they should not flower. Although this comment was made about black pines which perhaps flower differently?

Nice tree but you should not encourge your pines to flower. When the pollen cases fall off you're left with bare stem and a bunch of needles at the tip. I am having lots of flowering on my red pines this year and I'm really p....d off about it. :x
