Pot for literati pine

I am looking for my Radiata pine which I dug back in 2011. It is ready for its first pot now and I have visited a couple of bonsai nurseries and not found anything suitable thus far.
IT is quite feminine with the curve of the trunk, however it has a dramatic change of direction which is often associated with masculine trees. So I am confused as to what pot would suit it best..
I was thinking a drum pot (but can't find one deep enough just yet), but it does have a definate front so I could probably goa rectangle pot also (without a lip)
Please help by offering your suggestions.

Hi mate,
I'd go oval with ornate feet... Once this one is refined it will be a more feminine tree but still have masculinity hence the ornate feet and lip.
Cheers,
Mo

Excuse my ignorance, but what are ornate feet? Can you post/link and example?
Thanks for your input

This pot has ornate feet, they have been given thought and are a feature of the pot.
This pot has pronounced feet but they're not ornate, and not a particular feature on the pot. But they do give a different feel.
This last pot has very discreet feet, they add something to the pot but they're more of a practicality than a feature.
There is even a style where the feet are not noticeable and just look like the pot has no feet.
Cheers,
Mo

Thanks Mo, much appreciated.
Now the hunt begins. Although I am going to have to re-pot it this week as the candles are elongating very quickly and I want to pot it up in pumice. Its looking like I may have to put it in another foam box until I find the right pot.
If anyone can recommend a good place to get a good quality pot please feel free to comment.

I agree with you Luke, a strong drum pot not only for aesthetics but to keep it planted on your bench because of the tall c.o.g. Hope you find one.

Thanks Pup, looks like a nice pot. However I am not sure if it will be A)deep enough and B) wide enough. I would be happy to buy it from you if it is, but I am stuck at work so I will need to get the tape measure out when I get home.
Can you please tell me how deep it is as I cannot see exactly from the photo.
Cheers,
Luke

It really needs a round pot of some description.
How about something like this:

It looks like a fine trunk, for me a drum pot might look a bit heavy. A shallow round or octagonal pot would work well for me, if it was "light on its feet". You might need a couple of years of gradually reducing the root ball before it would fit the ideal pot though. Please keep posting this tree, it haws a nice line.

I really like this style of pot. More of a natural unglazed look perhaps, but I like it. Is there a particular name this style of pot goes by?

Thanks Gavin, Yes I certainly will need to reduce the rootball over the coming years. This will be its first re-pot as it is still in its native soil from the dig in 2011. Obviously I will try and get the angle right too but that depends on the root mass vs depth of pot. I don't want to be too vigorous with the root pruning just yet.

The tree currently stands at 940mm from soil level to apex and is roughly 740mm across the widest point of its branching. If anyone could help determine what size pot I should be searching for that would be great
