At last

A couple of fine, sunny days after weeks of drizzle but... Clear skies means

That's pretty cold! What are your average overnight lows this time of year?
We normally get 3-4 frosts per year but nothing like that! This year only 1 so far, most nights are 10C at the moment but I'm not complaining....

Much the same here as Matthew's place. Regularly below 0 in winter, often -2 or -3C and occasionally down to -7C. I don't have a thermometer outside so not sure exactly how cold this frost was but it looks like around -4C. The frosty mornings are not too bad. Feels much colder when there is a wind blowing and/or sleet but no frost when the air is moving or with cloud cover.
