Advice needed on Osmanthus

Hi

I have an opportunity to dig this (image attached) Osmanthus from a garden. It is about 10yrs old and has a wonderful flare (at least 20cm+) and some low branches that can be cut to create taper.
I gave it a light push and it appears the root system isn't heavily anchoring the plant. There appear to be some young shoots around the base as well.
I am hoping someone can help me with the following questions so that I can assess whether it is worth removing it from the garden.

Does osmanthus handle heavy root pruning well?
Does large cuts heal over well?
Does leaves reduce using conventional techniques?

And finally, are they hardy?
Thanks in advance.

I presume Osmanthus is English holly (suppose i should have googled) and if so very hardy. You could dig now but, in my opinion, not a great subject.

Thanks Bodhidharma.
I just want to clarify. Did you mean this particular tree is not a great subject or Osmanthus in general are not great subject for training into a bonsai?
I noticed the leave of this plant is rather large and understand there are different osmanthus and some with a lot smaller leaves.

I have a couple i play with and i have not had huge success with them. It matters not though what i think as ANY tree you play with will give you experience. It also does not mean that you wont make a great tree from this and i would collect it and have a go.
