Decided to try some new styles .
Will be getting back into a selection of Mame shortly.
I would appreciated feedback good or bad cause I don't want to end up doing to much of my own thing.
or all my own trees will be in my pots only

Hi Joann,

You have some lovely pots and some lovely glazes, I remember one that was posted on facebook that from memory Scott bought and it was an aqua coloured glaze and genuinely it was one of the loveliest glazed pots I have seen, even better it came from a Aussie potter.

I hope you don't mind me asking but, why would doing your own thing be a negative ?

Cheers

David

Funky feet on the first one, I'd like to see it matched with a tree.

I think we got to double figures today, but the wind blew off the snow...

Hi Joann, These do look good, my favourite's are 2 and 4, I love the pattern of 2 and the glaze of 4. No.1 is good too but 3 does not appeal to me it must be the pattern, it looks too much like a coil pot that has not had the coils smoothed out, I know that is often a desired effect but is not to my taste. I can see 2,3,4 as fairly large pots, the pattern and glazes would work well.Have I been of help :fc: keep up the good work. Michael.

Thanks for your comments ,they are appreciated. :D

David , in answer to your ? . Sometimes a pot may not sell , so I plant it up, then people see what it was all about.
most of my own plant styles are not bonsai, they are penzai and what ever I want to live with.
So that is why I sometimes need feedback.
As well as the fact that I am known for my Mame pots , which do conform to Japanese style.

As it is winter and drying is slow , I am now stocking up for our Waverley Bonsai show which is 2nd week of August .

again thanks for your comments joann :aussie:
