Hi guys i am moving out to West Pymble and my current club being Nepean will be a chore to travel to. I will still remain a member but travel to them on special demonstrations etc.

I would however like to join a club for monthly visits just to stay in touch. I have Bonsai Study Group which is only about 5 mins away from my new place or Bonsai Society of Australia in West Pennant Hills which is about 20 mins away.

I was wondering if anyone here is a member of either and sort of describe these clubs to me in terms of member numbers, usual attendance, past guest demonstrators etc.

Would really like to get to know a few members here before i attend the first meeting.

Another ne to consider is the School of Bonsai at North Rocks.

They meet weekly either day and night, it is very social.

Why do you need to get to know members before attending? Bonsai groups are quite welcoming and usually welcome visitors for a couple of meetings to see if it suits you before making a commitment.

The school of Bonsai is at North Rocks so is relatively nearby too.

Nope definitely not a need to get to know people. I think i will simply turn up.
