This sort of bonsai is basically priceless not only because of the shear size but most importantly the age. Just amazing that the work that was done and it still lives, amazing.

not much more I can say really...

It kills me that unless I move overseas, Ill never have the chance to be involved with something like this. It might sound un patriotic and negative but our natives just don't cut it for me.....

I guess I need to get over that though!

oh no you didn't! haha to each their own mate, I hope our material one day matches this though, it just needs to be found

The more I look at this bonsai... the more I realise how hard it would be to work on. How could you do anything without being scared of killing it!? Specially that root work he did on it Wonder if he is a smoker too

Peter enjoys the odd cigar on special occasions, but he isn't a cigarette smoker

I got a chance to help repot a Juniper that was maybe slightly bigger than the one shown but we had to lift it into the work shop, it took 4 of us to get it into the work shop. We also had a trolley with a lift function for most of the way till be hit the stairs.

You know its serious bonsai when you see someone do precision carving with a chain saw on the roots to make it fit into the bonsai pot.
